Big Save opened its first store in Paraparaumu in 1973, founded on the common-sense ideals of exceptional customer service and excellent value for money. The name reflects our promise: a ‘Big’ selection where you can always ‘Save’ heaps. Today, we continue to uphold these simple values, blending tradition with innovation to curate a beautiful collection of furniture and beds that resonates with New Zealanders.

We understand that life is busy, and you shouldn’t have to wait for furniture or beds. That’s why we have three large warehouses located throughout New Zealand, stocked full of furniture and beds. We know that having stock on hand is a crucial part of delivering a seamless and satisfying customer experience.

Big Wool grew from a simple question asked in 2019 -How can we do better for the place we call home?
