Deliveries / Returns



If you have chosen to collect your bed from a Big Save Furniture store or despatch centre, one of our admin staff will be in touch within 1 working day to advise you of an estimated collection date and to confirm the collection location.

Important. Storage fees will apply if goods are not collected within 2 weeks of arrival for collection.


Courier Delivery

Big Save Furniture offers a $10 nationwide courier delivery on small items such as pillows, foam mattress & mattress protectors. This delivery rate is per item.


Standard Delivery

Big Save Furniture offers the following delivery options for online purchases:

  • Drop & Go $69 Metro (city limits) within 15km of the local branch, packaged goods are dropped to your door.
  • Premium $169 Metro (city limits) within 15km of local branch goods assembled*, placed into position, packaging removed.
  • Rural $299 Over 15km, but inside 40km, from the local branch, packaged goods are dropped to your door.
  • Outer Rural $599 Over 40km away from the nearest branch.

Big Save reserves the right to amend the delivery charge accordingly after purchase or offer a refund of the purchase price.

If you would like to confirm the delivery price of your items prior to purchasing, please send us an enquiry via the contact page.  If you require your items to be delivered outside of the 20km range and would like to know an exact delivery quote, please enquire at [email protected]. When you have made your purchase, one of our admin staff will be in touch to arrange a delivery day.


Delivery and Assembly Terms & Conditions

Drop & Go Delivery:

  • All goods are delivered to the front/rear door of the customer/s dwelling including apartments, or, secured secondary building on site i.e. garage or shed (dependant on customers instructions)

Premium Delivery:

Lounge Suites/Lounge Furniture

  • All feet attached
  • All Pieces connected/attached correctly
  • All Packaging taken away
  • Check goods are free of any damage/imperfections
  • Furniture set up and placed as requested by the customer


  • Mattress and bases are to be unwrapped in the customers house
  • All mattresses and bases are set up including attaching feet/connectors
  • Re attachment or attachment of headboard if purchased or removed.
  • Beds placed as requested by the customer
  • All packaging taken away

Note – this does NOT include Slat/Bunk Beds/kit set bases

Dining/Occasional Furniture

  • All Dining Tables legs will be attached in house
  • Dining chairs will be assembled pre delivery
  • Unpack/Unwrap
  • Check goods are free of any damage/imperfections
  • All Packaging taken away
  • New furniture placed and set up as requested by the customer

Bedroom Furniture

  • Unpack/Unwrap
  • All Packaging removed
  • Place newly purchased furniture for customer as required.
  • All dressing tables must have mirrors attached.
  • Handles must be attached to all pieces of furniture.


  • Balcony lifts are included in Premium delivery
  • Big Save Furniture does not offer assembly of flat packed goods in customer homes. All flat packed goods requiring assembly that can fit through doorways once assembled will be assembled by Big Save Assembly staff prior to delivery.

Estimated Delivery Dates

When purchasing an item online, will estimate a delivery date for you based on current stock information.  Big Save can not guarantee delivery on this date and it is an estimation only.  Once you have placed your order, an admin member will contact you to confirm your delivery date.



Damaged Items

Orders delivered by truck
If your order is damaged in transit, please photograph the damage and report this to the delivery driver.  The carrier will return your bed to the nearest Big Save store to be replaced. Please contact [email protected] so that we may arrange for your replacement.

Beds – 21 Day Sleep Guarantee

If you are not completely satisfied with the comfort of your new bed, you may return it within 21 days of delivery and exchange it for a bed of the same value.  Due to health standards, an UPcare Mattress Protector must be purchased with the bed in order for Big Save to accept its return.  If collection or re-delivery of your bed is required, the customer is responsible for a freight charge equal to that of the original delivery fee.
