Deliveries


We offer a range of delivery options depending on your location and product, from doorstep delivery only through to premium delivery with installation, packaging removal, and recycling of your old unit. Pricing varies by distance from store and service level.

Online orders include an estimated delivery date based on current stock levels. This is an indication only and not guaranteed. Once your order is placed, our team will confirm your final delivery date.


METRO DELIVERY

Within 20km of a Big Save store.

 

To the door delivery – $119

  • All goods are delivered to the front/rear door of the customer/s dwelling including apartments, or, secured secondary building on site i.e. garage or shed (dependant on customers instructions) Products cannot be brought inside the home. Installation is not included.

Electrical (1 item) – $189

  • Includes installation, packaging removal and recycling of old unit if required.

Electrical (2+ items) – $219

  • Includes installation, packaging removal and recycling of old unit if required.

Premium Delivery – $319

  • For furniture and whiteware. Includes installation, packaging removal and recycling of old unit if required. Excludes slat bed frame and kit set product assembly.


OUTER DELIVERY

Within 20km – 70km of a Big Save store.

 

To the door delivery – $219

Greater than 70km of a Big Save store.

 

Regional Delivery – $619

  • For furniture and whiteware. Includes installation, packaging removal and recycling of old unit if required. Excludes slat bed frame and kit set product assembly.

SPECIAL GOLD CARD DELIVERY

Within 20km of a Big Save store. You must show your Gold Card to obtain this offer. Available in-store only.

 

Gold Card Delivery – $149

  • Includes installation and packaging removal within 20km of a Big Save store. Excludes slat bed frame and kit set product assembly.

 

Returns


At Big Save, we are committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction with your purchase. If, for any reason, you are not fully satisfied, you have the option to return your item to your nearest Big Save store (including products purchased online) within 14 days from the date of receipt for an exchange, Gift Voucher, or refund. Please be aware that specific terms and conditions, along with certain exclusions, apply.

To qualify for a return, the item must meet the following criteria:

  • Be in saleable and undamaged condition
  • Be in its original, unopened, and sealed packaging
  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase

This refund policy is in addition to, and does not limit, any rights or remedies you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act.

 

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrectly Supplied Items

This policy does not waive your rights regarding faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied items. If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, or not as described, Big Save will honor its obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide an appropriate remedy.

 

Terms & Conditions

Please take note of the following conditions related to returns for change of mind: 

  • We cannot accept returns for products purchased more than 14 days ago.
  • Items must be in their original unopened condition and packaging.
  • Proof of purchase is required for all returns.
  • Products must be returned to a Big Save store. At Big Save's discretion, we will offer an exchange, Gift Voucher, or refund.
  • You will be responsible for shipping and any other costs related to returning the product to Big Save, if applicable.

 

Exclusions

The following items are excluded from this refund policy (except in cases of faults): 

  • Gift vouchers
  • Items marked as ‘display’ or ‘floor stock’
  • Seconds and clearance items
  • Customised and special orders
  • Pillows and mattress protectors
  • Beds, mattresses, and bedroom furniture
  • Shipping, delivery, and installation fees

 

Exclusions

Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, you are entitled to guaranteed legal rights for goods and services purchased from Big Save. These rights include:

  • A guarantee that goods are of acceptable quality, meaning they are: 
    • Fit for all common purposes
    • Free from minor defects
    • Safe, durable, and acceptable in appearance and finish
  • A guarantee that goods are fit for any particular purpose you have specified
  • A guarantee that goods match any description provided or any sample or demonstration model

If the goods or services supplied do not meet a consumer guarantee, Big Save will fulfill its obligations under the CGA to provide a remedy. These guarantees are in addition to any manufacturer warranty, and you may have rights against the manufacturer directly.

Please note that the CGA does not apply if goods have been used in a way inconsistent with their intended use or if they have been misused beyond what a reasonable consumer would expect.

 

Cancellations

Big Save Furniture will charge a minimum cancellation fee of $100, plus any other costs incurred (e.g., freight costs). This cancellation fee applies when swapping goods for a lesser value; however, it may not be charged if the exchange is for equal or greater value within a reasonable timeframe. Each cancellation will be assessed individually by the Customer service team.

 

Refunds

Refunds cannot be processed in-store and will instead be handled at Big Save’s head office. The refund amount will be directly credited to the purchaser's bank account. Please note that no refunds will be issued for Trade-In furniture, and in-store refunds are not available

 

Storage

Big Save Furniture will store goods for up to 7 days. This period begins when the goods are delivered to Big Save. After 7 days, a weekly storage fee of $80 will apply.

 

Refunds

Collections


When collecting your order from Big Save Furniture, customers must present photo ID at the scheduled collection time. All collections must be booked in advance. While Big Save Team members may assist with loading your furniture into your vehicle, the customer is responsible for securing their goods.
